Our Inspiration and Vision

Fidelity Offset's Belize initiative was born out of a deep connection with Covenant Presbyterian Church and their mission work in Belize. It was also inspired by the efforts of church members like Kimberly Carraway, who has dedicated over 16 years to the Belize Project. In 2023, our CEO, Michael Spurgeon, participated in the church’s mission to Belize by flying donated copiers and printers, then installing them in schools in the town of Corozal. This experience sparked the idea of using our business resources to help improve local economic and working conditions.

The Concept of the Belize Team

Recognizing Belize's potential, Micheal envisioned a way to contribute meaningfully to economic development and empowerment by establishing a local team to service Fidelity’s US Market.

 

Leveraging the network established through the Belize Project, we brought on board team project director Aziel Ku, an established business leader in Orange Walk and the son of long time Belize Project members Mario and Ruth Ku.

Recruitment and Development

In April of 2024 under Aziel’s guidance and leadership, we developed a compensation plan offering a locally competitive base salary combined with the same incentive and bonus package offered to our US based account executives.

Training

In May, 2024 we employed and began training a team of full time prospective candidates stressing a company culture of servant leadership and a fanatical commitment to customer service.

 Our team was trained in person and online for Fidelity proprietary software and was provided open enrollment for online ethics, communication, leadership, and business development training procured from Skillsoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and HubSpot Academy.

Getting to work!

By June, we had setup a modest office and settled on a core of five team members lead by Aziel. Working closely with our US account management team, we began to transition select accounts to the Belize Team to help build their incentive base and to fine tune their skills.

Meet the Team

Aziel’s local reputation for integrity and community service added substantial credibility to Fidelity’s effort to attract like minded local talent. His leadership, IT and entrepreneurial experience combined with a heart to serve set the team up for success .

 
As the Project Director for Belize Operations, Aziel stands at the helm of the Fidelity Belize Branch project, orchestrating its strategic direction, operational efficiency, and team synergy. Aziel is tasked with ensuring the project's objectives are met on time and within budget, leveraging his leadership skills to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement among the team. His role is critical in liaising between the Belize team and Fidelity's senior management, ensuring alignment with the company's broader goals and standards.

Meet the Team

Sherly Galdamez, serving as the Operations and Training Manager, is crucial for the operational setup and continuous improvement of the Fidelity Belize Branch. Her role encompasses the management of new hire training, ensuring all team members are well-versed in the company's processes, products, and job ticket management system. Sherly's leadership ensures the branch operates smoothly and efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of service quality.

Edrie Ek is a young man from the village of San Narciso in the Corozal district, Belize. He is 25 years old and is the current breadwinner of his family. He worked as a security guard at the Cornerstone Presbyterian high school for the past 7 years but has been trying to find something that would provide him a career where he can grow. Edrie holds an associate's degree in accounting and economics. He takes care of his mother and lives with his other two brothers. Edrie@printfidelity.com

 

Williams Smith is a very outgoing person and has worked a lot in sales locally, most recently for the Yellow Pages here in Belize where he was responsible for selling ad spaces in the yellow pages. Williamsmith@printfidelity.com

Keli Cunil is a single mom of three kids from the village of Concepcion in the Corozal District, Belize. She worked at a call center for the past 5 years where she acquired great experience in the sales field making her one of the top sales performers. She is a very responsible person and a go-getter. Our Services and Expertise

Fidelity is a marketing oriented commercial printer specializing in developing and maintaining secure print and marketing portals for large US based corporations and producing and distributing these materials nationally from our Nashville based production facility.

While the Belize Team will focus on this service segment, Fidelity also provides secure direct mail services, grand format production for events and tradeshows, warehouse and distribution management, ad specialty items and general commercial print services
